“ This is a gem in Helen Georgia. Most folks visit Helen for a small taste or glimpse of Germany, but the Bangkok Haus is a great break from the heavy German food! I had the Cashew Pad Thai with Tofu, I could eat this everyday! Delicious and great balance of flavors. Seth, our waiter, was friendly and answered all the questions hurled at him. The Crab Rangoons were delicious. We also had the dragon roll, and the beauty and the beast roll, along with the Tom Kha Kai soup, so delicious. The bartender was friendly but we didn't catch his name. The interior is really cute, nice and clean. We will visit again next time we are in Helen. ”

“ Just go! You won't regret it, just go. Our server and other staff we met were wonderful. My partner ordered the pineapple chicken, I ordered the teriyaki chicken, and the child of prophecy ordered the kids fried rice and a cali roll. The pineapple chicken was to die for. We were seated outside since the day was lovely. The music from the restaurant next door drifted over and mingled with pianist Bangkok Haus had inside. We come to Helen every year, and we will be making it a point to come back and eat here again. The pineapple chicken has us coming back. ”

“ We tried this place because it was highly rated and there doesn't seem to be much in Helen that looks that great. Overall it was pretty good but a little pricey. I had the special, Orange Sesame Chicken, which was really good. We also had the potstickers and a beef curry dish. The curry was okay but nothing spectacular. We upgraded to fried rice but that was just okay. The server was attentive and everything came out quickly. It's nicely decorated inside and there is outdoor seating as well. ”

“ Bangkok Haus is a hidden gem. The ambiance is captivating with its unique lighting, and the food is even more impressive. My girlfriend and I indulged in a variety of dishes, including the special lobster fried rice, a sushi roll, pot stickers, and spring rolls. While the food was outstanding, the drinks were the highlight of our evening, especially the double espresso martinis. Our experience was elevated by our waiter, Alex. He was incredibly friendly, engaging in delightful conversation and sharing jokes with us. Alex truly made our night memorable; he has the charisma and talent to own the restaurant himself. ”

“ Talk about a pleasant surprise! I stayed in Helen overnight and needed a place for a group of 8 with varying palates. Bangkok Haus was a hit! There was a lady playing the piano and the vibe was like "forever Christmas." Our server and the bartender were fantastic! They allowed us to make modifications/substitutions and they executed them perfectly. The fried calamari was the Star of our dinner. It's not huge inside, but they make up for that in spirit and service. Next time you're in Helen, do yourself a solid and eat here. You're welcome! ”

“ Our server Kenia did an outstanding job to ensure all of our guest at the table were taken care of and answered all of their question, checking with the Chef on some of the questions. My wife and I had appetizers of Spring rolls and Chicken Satay. I loved the spring rolls even though I would prefer Old Fashion Egg rolls with a dinner. My wife enjoyed the Chicken Satay and I sampled it and it was very good. For the main entree' Masaman Curry with Chicken, with a side of white rice, portion was more than enough for her and she had take home for the next day. I had the Monogolian Beef with fried rice a $2.50 up charge for that. Beef with a little salty before I used the low sodium Soy sauce. Our party consisted of 6 people and we could hear each other with no problem as we talked during and after dinner. They also do a 3% charge for using a credit card, again something I am not happy with, it is the cost of doing business. Again I am not carrying that much cash on me to pay for large meals that wi why we have credit/debit cards. ”

“ 4/5! After walking around Helen for the day, a friend and I decided to stop by Bangkok Haus to try. It was odd seeing Thai cuisine here in the woods of Georgia, so why not. The Food: Since we weren't as hungry, we opted for some sushi and an appetizer. For the appetizer, I went with the "Crispy Calamari". And for sushi, I went with the "Spicy Tuna Roll" and the "Double Eel Roll". Surprisingly, their sushi was pretty good! The fish tasted very good, I can tell it was of some quality. The rice to protein ratio was perfect as well. I'd definitely recommend ordering a roll if you like Sushi. The Service: Service was great! Staff here are friendly and attentive. Even while we were outside on their patio. The Atmosphere: Restaurant was nicely decorated. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Overall a nice and clean resturant. Overall, a 4/5! Definitely recommend giving Bangkok Haus a try! Sushi was good, staff were friendly. Next time I'm in Helen, I'll be sure to stop by again and try their traditional Thai food. ”
